Privacy Policy
Last updated 15 August 2026. Written in plain language - a description of our practices, not legal advice.
1. Scope
This policy explains how Glow Up collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information, and how you can access or delete it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and a display name if you add one.
- Intake answers: sex, current and goal weight, height, activity level, and the struggle you describe in your own words. This is health-related information, so we treat it as sensitive.
- Generated content: your roadmaps, results and any roadmap titles you save.
- Purchase records: which product you bought, when, the amount, and the Stripe identifiers needed to manage your access. Card numbers are handled by Stripe and never reach us.
- Support messages: the email address and message you send us.
- Basic technical data: log and device information created when you load the site, used for security and reliability.
3. Why we collect it
We use your information to create your account, generate and store your roadmaps, provide the recipe library, process payments and manage memberships, answer support requests, keep the service secure, and meet our legal obligations. We collect only what those purposes need.
You can give us your intake answers or not, but without them we cannot generate a roadmap.
4. Your consent to handle health information
By submitting the intake form you consent to us collecting and using the health-related information you enter for the purpose of generating and storing your wellness content. You can withdraw that consent at any time by asking us to delete your data.
5. AI processing
Your intake answers are sent to an AI provider through Lovable's AI gateway to generate your written result. We do not send your email address or name with them. We do not permit your content to be used to train third-party models, and it is not used to build a profile of you for advertising.
6. Who we share it with
- Our hosting and database provider, which stores your account and roadmaps.
- Stripe, which processes payments and holds your card details under its own privacy policy.
- Our AI provider, which processes intake answers to generate your result.
- Our email provider, which sends account and billing emails.
- Anyone we are legally required to disclose to.
We never sell your personal information, never trade it, and never use your health information to advertise to you. Some providers process data overseas; we choose providers that apply comparable protection.
7. Security and retention
Your roadmaps and intake answers are private to your account and protected by row-level access rules so other users cannot read them. Access to production data is limited to what is needed to run the service.
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account we remove your roadmaps and intake answers, and keep only the payment and tax records we are legally required to hold. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take it seriously.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete everything including past roadmaps. Write in from the support page using the email address on your account and we will action it. If you are unhappy with how we handled a privacy matter, tell us first - and you can escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
9. Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and local storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and to process checkout. We do not run advertising trackers or sell audience data. Any analytics we use are limited to aggregate usage and performance.
10. Children
Glow Up is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.
11. Changes and contact
If this policy changes we will post the updated version here with a new date. Privacy questions, access requests and deletion requests all go through the support page.
